Families hoping to have their homes as cool as possible at a price that does not break the bank could well consider a high-quality Chinese device that just does that, a company marketing the product says.

The WQ-301A ‘Extreme Energy Saver’ provides consumers with a chilling breeze and the makers say it can help to cut monthly electricity bills by 10 to 35 per cent.
A study conducted in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia by Bahrain-based King Trading Centre and manufacturers in China showed that 60 per cent of electricity bills are consumed by air-conditioning units.
A 2.2 kilowatt window-type air-conditioning unit running for 24 hours will cost the user approximately BD7 ($18.5), and will emit 689 kg of carbon dioxide per unit/month, the study showed.
“The WQ-301A Extreme Energy Saver is a device that enhances the sensitivity of the air conditioner’s thermostat, thus eliminating unwanted running time of the compressor and in return saves electricity,” King Trading Centre said.
“With less energy being used, less heat is generated by the AC compressor, hence extending its life considerably - by 25 per cent.”
King Trading Centre, founded in 1996, is the exclusive agent for energy saving systems for air conditioners in Bahrain and the whole of the Middle East.
The managing director of King Trading Centre, Sayed Ahmed Al A’ali, said: “What’s so special about this product is it not only reduces our energy consumption, it also preserves our environment by considerably reducing the emission of carbon dioxide.

The WQ-301A Extreme Energy Saver is directly attached to the air conditioner without any interfering wiring system, and then it automatically regulates and compensates the air to maintain the set temperature.
