Registration for the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference 2008, (Adipec), is now open.

One of the largest international petroleum exhibition and conferences in the world, Adipec is taking place from November 3 – 6 under the patronage of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nayhan, President of the UAE.
Pre-registration will ensure a swift entrance for visitors attending the four-day exhibition minimising time queuing for badges and maximising the opportunity to network with industry leaders and experts, as well as experience the latest technologies, innovations, services and trends. Registration can be found by logging onto www.adipec.com. Once registered, visitors will receive a unique barcode that is scanned upon entry in order to receive an entry badge and free show catalogue.
Adipec 2008 expects to host between 35,000 – 40,000 industry executives who are spearheading the growth and development of the global oil and gas industry. For professionals, government officials and key influencers in the global oil and gas industry, Adipec is an essential event on the international trade exhibition and conference calendar.
With a global audience expected from more than six continents, regional businesses can save on their travel budget by attending the event. As the most cost effective way of sourcing products and services in this industry, no other event provides such complete sourcing solutions.
With exhibitor space now sold out, Adipec is hosting over 1,400 exhibitors from 55 countries in 18 national pavilions and is the only international oil and gas show with representation from major international and national oil companies. As the inaugural event for the newly completed Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec), the tradeshow has already filled 85,000 sq m of indoor exhibition space, making this event the largest in Adipec history.
Within the four days, Adipec will stage two unique events – Energy 2030 and the Energy Finance Summit. The Petroleum Institute, Adnoc and Adipec will host Energy 2030, which will include a high-level conference and technical theatres.  The conference will feature lectures from globally renowned business and academic experts.  Additionally, the future generation of engineers and industrialists will benefit from the commercial theatre area that will showcase the latest technology prototypes and innovations. This year’s Energy 2030 will also see the launch of the first Alternative Energy Awards.
In tandem with the exhibition, the event will feature a scientific conference that runs parallel to the exhibition with the theme “Working Together To Deliver Sustainable Growth: Innovative Teams and Technology Deployment” and will have more than 200 international speakers, researchers and experts from the industry and institutions delivering keynote addresses, participating in executive panels and delivering technical presentations.
