A wholly owned subsidiary of the well-known Banz Group, Bhatia & Co is among the oldest technical trading companies in the Gulf.

The company started as a small partnership way back in 1947, engaged in trading.  In 1978, the business was converted into a limited liability company and in 1998 the Banz Group took over as its majority shareholder.  One after another, new products were added – hand tools, power tools, bearings, welding electrodes, safety products, hoses, belts, industrial maintenance chemicals, automotive spare parts, batteries, fire fighting equipment and so on.

Possessing such a diversified business portfolio as above, the company’s market naturally spreads across literally the entire economy of Bahrain from large industries to small workshops, automobile distributors to spare parts retailers, large construction companies to small-time contractors, government ministries and banks to one-man service enterprises.
