MMI's partnership with the Cert Group, the UK's leading supply chain management company, will enable it to utilise Cert's third party logistics services and its strategic and operations consultancy, Supply Chain Solutions, MMI said.
The partnership will provide companies servicing the Middle East the opportunity to utilise the expertise from the UK and the locally based company, creating a totally integrated supply chain management solution throughout the distribution process.

Meanwhile Jaychand Packakkil has joined MMI Logistics as inventory process manager where his prime responsibilities include usage of state-of-the-art warehouse management systems and logic in managing customers' inventory.
"The responsibility involves the management of the 13,000 odd stock lines for numerous MMI Logistics clients ensuring that the business processes are in line with ISO 9000 2000 and other quality systems in place," a company spokesman said.
"Working in an ISO 14001 environment, Jaychand is also accountable for ensuring that MMI Logistics is at the forefront of environmental management throughout the supply chain process."
With over eight years' logistics experience in the Middle East and the subcontinent, his knowledge of warehouse management systems and business process reengineering will enable him to continuously upgrade the business processes in line with international standards, proving invaluable to clients and the industry in general, the spokesman said.
