Germany’s Techem Energy Services, a leading provider of wireless metering technology, will showcase its range of solutions at an expo in Abu Dhabi.
The company is taking part at the Working Buildings Middle East show, to be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre on November 17 and 18.
“Techem products are playing a vital role in the global push for energy conservation and facilitate real-time acquisition of critical usage and rate data from energy meters,” said Chris Fountain, event director, CMPi organisers of the event.
“Techem is a leading international service provider for the housing and property industry in the field of consumption-based metering and billing of heat, water and cooling,” he added.
“Spiraling energy demand in the Gulf states, coupled with a gas-supply crunch, has put pressure on the economies of the region that require more hydrocarbons being devoted to power generation than had been the case historically, as power supply needs to keep pace with development,” explained Fountain.
Hans-Lothar Schنfer, director for international markets, Techem, commented:  “Our knowhow in metering and cost allocation of heat can be applied almost directly to cooling.
“Techem measures the energy consumption of 400,000 customers in 7.9 million households. In 27 countries, the Techem brand stands for an economical and efficient use of natural resources.”
Working Buildings Middle East is a new event designed to target all those involved in the management and maintenance of buildings and property.
