Emirates Islamic Bank (EIB) and MD Interior Design, a member of the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders (SME), have signed an agreement to offer interior design solutions to beneficiaries of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment.

Under the agreement, MD will offer a variety of cost-effective design packages financed by EIB to those beneficiaries. The housing establishment is a government body that facilitates affordable housing for UAE nationals. 
The first-of-its-kind project in the UAE offers homeowners an opportunity to decorate their homes with stylishly designed furniture, window treatments, floor and wall coverings, accessories, art and lighting.

“Small and medium businesses like MD have an important role to play in the development of the local economy by providing innovative products and services.”      
Rashid Al Moutawa, CEO of Mohammad Bin Rashid Housing, said his organisation was opening doors to companies and institutions managed by UAE nationals so they could contribute to national rebuilding.
The establishment had also signed strategic agreements with several government bodies to secure additional loans for UAE nationals to buy and furnish their homes.
Faisal Aqil, EIB general manger- retail, expressed delight at the partnership with MD Interior Designs on the pioneering project.
He said the partnership would provide attractive interior design finance packages including easy repayment terms to suit different budgets. 
Monther Darwish, general manager of MD Interior Design, said the project aimed at enabling UAE nationals decorate their homes in a cost-effective manner.
MD Interior Design has developed 135 design packages and offers three options for each of the 45 villa models on sale.
The first phase of Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment’s housing project covers 544 villas. The entire project comprises 10,000 units.
