Epson has unveiled four new printing and imaging products, offering its customers in the Arab market an even wider choice of total printing solutions.

The new products include the Stylus Photo 870 and Stylus Photo 1270, the latest additions to Epson's award-winning range of photo inkjet printers, the new Expression 1600 and 1600 Pro scanners, and the EPL-N2050, which has been designed for users with demanding printing requirements, particularly in the office workgroup environment.

Epson says the Stylus Photo 870 and Stylus Photo 1270 are a true printing breakthrough. The output from these printers can be displayed for in excess of 10 years in typical indoor lighting conditions without any objectionable fading.

Since the introduction of the original photo-quality inkjet printer, the Epson Stylus Photo in 1997, Epson has continued to improve printer quality with its unique Micro Piezo technology, says Jonathan Baker, Epson's general manager for the Middle East.

"We will continue to offer market leading imaging products throughout the Arab region, featuring advanced technology combined with highly competitive pricing. Epson continues to enjoy a leadership position in this marketplace due to its comprehensive range of products, meeting the demands of a wide range of users including home, SoHo and corporate users," he says.

Epson (UK) is part of the Seiko Epson Corporation which has a turnover of $8 billion. The corporation owns 35 factories worldwide.
