DHL highlighted at the China Sourcing Fair its role in strengthening trade ties between the Middle East and China.
The company also said it had built a strong infrastructure within China to make it possible for the country to reach out to distant markets.
The company said it had provided valuable guidance and logistics expertise for buyers throughout the Middle East, India and Africa importing from and to China.
Touching on UAE-China services, Janet Jweihan, DHL Express’ UAE manager, said: “DHL has developed significant and efficient UAE-China trade services over the years into our enhanced one-stop-shop offering and expertise. Our presence at the China Sourcing Fair underlined the key position we hold in this growing trade market.”
She said DHL’s centralised customer clearance at state-of the-art hubs, advanced technology inspection equipment, fast-track customs clearance systems and specially trained staff had led to efficient shipping activities to and from China.
