Expo Centre Sharjah is all set to stage SteelFab 2020, a successful milestone of the 16th edition, from January 13 to 16, 2020 in Sharjah, UAE.

As in the previous years, the upcoming 16th SteelFab is expected to showcase 250 plus exhibitors displaying close to 800 brands from categories such as welding and cutting, machine tools, pipe and tube machinery, grinding and cutting, surface preparation and finishing, tools and ancillaries. The fifth edition of a dedicated vertical for the fastener and fixing industry -- Fasteners World Middle East – will also be held alongside SteelFab 2020.

Besides pavilions from Italy, German and Taiwan, SteelFab enjoys support from leading industry associations. SteelFab 2020 will feature a national pavilion from the UK for the second time. “This is a positive development for the show, as it will bring together a good selection of UK high-technology & key solution providers for the steel fabricator in the Middle East,” said Saif Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah.

Technical seminars will be organised along the show on a variety of topics. “We have seen a trend towards automation and integration being of increased interest to the regional audience and this is reflected in the topics presented at the show. The last edition has addressed Industry 4.0, Internet usage for remote operation, Autonomous Machines amongst others, added Al Midfa.

It has been 16 years since the region’s steel fabrication and metal working industry changed the way how it did business. It’s 16 years ago that SteelFab made its debut! A lot has changed since then, and the event continues to steer the industry through the ups and downs of the economy and the market.

Over the years, it has grown with the industry, and along the way, expanded its geographical footprint far and wide.
