Thailand’s Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce has joined hands with the air- conditioning and refrigeration industry group together with the electrical, electronics and telecommunication group of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) in hosting the Bangkok Refrigeration, Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning 2019 (Bangkok RHVAC 2019) and the Bangkok Electric and Electronics 2019 (Bangkok E&E 2019). The two events will be held at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna, Bangkok between September 25 and 28.

Wittayakorn Maneenetr, deputy director general, DITP said that Bangkok RHVAC and Bangkok E&E, being held every two years, are the leading trade events in the region. Its main objective is to promote Thailand to be the hub of trade exposition for air conditioners, refrigerators, as well as electrical and electronic appliance at the global level.

The fair will also boost Thailand’s exports and enhance the potential of Thai Industry. In addition, it will also be a platform for local and international buyers to meet and negotiate with Thai manufacturers in the field of air-conditioning, refrigerating, electrical and electronic products, including parts, technologies, and new innovations in the industry, which in turn will yield the long-lasting confidence and positive images for Thai products, a statement said.

DITP forecasts that this year there will be over 400 companies participating in the event, resulting in 1,000 booths. Among those, Bangkok RHVAC will have a share of 300 companies and 900 booths, while the remaining 100 companies and 100 booths will come from Bangkok E&E. More than 20 per cent of increasing number of buyers, importers, entrepreneurs, dealers, and manufacturers are expected to attend the event.

Bangkok RHVAC and Bangkok E&E has built up from its success over the past years. In 2017, there were 332 local and international companies exhibiting at the event, totaling in 940 booths, among these, RHVAC alone has a total of 293 companies with 890 booths. Many foreign companies from all over the world including ASEAN countries, China, India, South Korea, Middle East countries, European countries, and the US, also participated in the fair.
