Bell Flow Systems, a leading distributor of flow meters, instrumentation and fluid transfer equipment for domestic, commercial and industrial applications worldwide, has launched the European manufacturer Gespasa’s range of fuel transfer pumps.

As the main UK distributor for Gespasa’s range of products, Bell Flow Systems has introduced Iron-75 fuel transfer pump and the BDP (Bantam Duty Pump) Gespasa pump range, which is suitable for use with diesel, petrol, kerosene and other clean, non-corrosive liquids.

According to the company the Iron-75 fuel transfer pump is a high quality self-priming, built to last 75 litres/min diesel pump with eccentric self-adjusting blades and recirculation bypass. The ATEX model features suction of 5m; delivery: 30m; free flow: 75 l/min; consumption: 1.9-4.5 Amps. Its motor is available in 0.5 kW 230 VAC self-ventilated 50/60 Hz single-phase with thermal cut-out protection. Other features include S1 continuous duty; IP-55 protection; 3000 rpm. It sports a connection through 1-inch (BSP) threads and flange option and has a built-in steel filter of 350 µm (micron); on/off luminous switch with IP-55 protection; 3m electric cable and an anti-corrosion treatment. It is also available as a wall-mount or drum mount fuel transfer kit, the company said.

The BDP pumps are ATEX EExd IIBT4 certified for use in hazardous areas and feature an IP-55 rated hard-wearing iron construction, it said.

Iron-75 fuel transfer pump: built to last

The Gespasa BDP high-flow, explosion proof range of vane pumps are self-priming, positive displacement, and continuously rated. Transfers using the range of BDP pumps are quick, uniform and inaudible for a simple operation, it added.

Constructed from IP-55 hard-wearing die casted iron housing, the pumps are ATEX EExd IIBT4 certified for use in hazardous environments. Featuring an operation pressure of 3.5 bar and a maximum of 800 rpm, the pumps also have built-in bypass valves for heavy-duty applications.

With sizes from 1.5-inch to 3-inch, and flow rates from 200 L/min to 1000 L/min, these pumps are specifically designed for high volume transfer, S-1 service, fuel tank filling and discharging and storage of fuel. Motors are available in 230/400vAC and 400/660vAC, depending on the model.

Meanwhile, Bell Flow Systems, along with distributors from all over the world, were invited to the Badger Meter - European headquarters in Neuffen, Germany to celebrate the offices’ 45 year anniversary and to attend new product seminars and the grand distributor’s award gala evening.

Bell Flow Systems directors, Lee Brogan and Nick Cleaver accepted the sales success award following six years of distributing Badger Meter products at the global distributor meeting awards ceremony.
