Dubai Investments (DI), the largest investment company listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM), reinforced its efforts for greater business in Kazakhstan and the neighbouring countries through its determined participation in KazBuild, the leading construction trade exhibition held in the first half of September in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

DI presented leading-edge capabilities of the company and its nine subsidiaries including Emirates Glass, Lumiglass Industries, Emirates Float Glass, Emirates Building Systems, Dubai Cranes & Technical Services, Emirates Extrusion Factory, Gulf Dynamic Switchgear, International Rubber Company and Techno Rubber Company.

The four-day exhibition brought together nearly 300 exhibitors from across the globe, representing various construction and related sectors.

Dubai Investments and its subsidiaries were part of the UAE pavilion led by Dubai Exports – an initiative aimed at enabling UAE-based businesses to strengthen export capabilities.

Abdulaziz Bin Yagub Al Serkal, general manager, Dubai Investments, said visitors to the UAE pavilion in KazBuild would benefit from the expertise of Dubai Investments, its subsidiaries and other UAE companies. "This is a great opportunity to exchange knowledge and tap into business and growth opportunities in Kazakhstan and neighbouring states," he added.

Some of the subsidiaries of Dubai Investments have a presence in the Kazakhstan market and their products are being exported to the country.
