Rukban: a role in Saudi economic diversification

ORGANISERS of Saudi Build 2013 scheduled for November 4 to 7 in Riyadh say the event is relevant in the context of unparalleled investments in the construction sector both in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East and North
Africa region.

It noted that with SR375 billion ($99.98 billion) worth of construction projects being considered in Saudi Arabia and investments worth SR16.125 trillion projected for the Mena region by 2020, the region promises manufacturers and traders of construction products unprecedented prospects for growing their business.

Manufacturers and traders have the opportunity to showcase and promote their offerings at Saudi Build which is marking 25 years as one of the region’s premier construction shows, said a statement from the organisers, Riyadh Exhibition Company.

Saudi Build 2013 is on course to surpass the previous year’s event, which attracted 812 exhibitors from 34 countries and 22,649 visitors in an exhibiting area of 26,000 sq m. It is the only construction trade show in Saudi Arabia accredited by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. UFI grants certification to top-notch professional events managed by experienced organisers with a proven track record in international exhibitions.

Saudi Build 2013 will host two concurrent events: Saudi Build PMV 2013, the third International Exhibition for Construction Equipment, Plant, Machinery and Vehicle, and Saudi Stone-Tech, the 15th International Stone and Stone Technology and Machinery Exhibition. Saudi Stone-Tech is being undertaken in collaboration with Verona Fiere and Confindustria Marmomacchine, organisers of the renowned “Marmomacc,” the leading fair for operators in the stone industry which has been held annually in Verona Italy for the past 45 years.
