Dr Al Akraf and Al Tamimi present the certificate to Kalban in the presence of Al Sabiri

DUBAI Quality Group (DQG), a non-profit organisation that advances learning, promotes quality improvement and business excellence practices, has renewed its strategic partnership with Dubai Aluminum (Dubal), a pioneering investor partner of DQG, as both parties aim to leverage Dubal’s leadership within the aluminium industry to promote greater awareness about corporate excellence in the UAE.

DQG conducted an investor membership appreciation ceremony and awarded a special certificate to Dubal in recognition of its role in promoting high quality standards within the aluminum industry and the UAE’s business community in general. Dr Yousef Al Akraf, chairman of DQG, and Badriya Al Tamimi, managing director of DQG, presented the certificate to Abdullah Kalban, president and CEO of Dubal. Present was Sultan Al Sabiri, Dubal vice president, human resources and organisation effectiveness.

Kalban said: “We deeply value our partnership with DQG because we share the organisation’s ideals and its mission to promote quality and excellence as cornerstones of our society’s sustained growth and development. DQG has actively supported Dubal’s quality programmes and we are therefore looking forward to further strengthening our partnership as we jointly explore more innovative ways to enhance the quality of our products and services. Moreover, this agreement reaffirms our commitment to continue collaborating with DQG to create greater awareness about the importance of corporate excellence within the aluminum sector and the greater business community.”

Dr Al Akraf commented: “Dubal has been a pioneering member of DQG and this reflects strongly on the impact and value of our services on the success of high-profile business organisations in the UAE. As the country moves into a new era of growth and development, DQG will continue to consolidate its nationwide network of strategic partners as we ultimately aim to cultivate a culture of corporate excellence in society.”

Al Tamimi added: “Dubal and DQG have a long history as a productive and mutually beneficial partnership and we are confident that this new agreement will unlock more opportunities to expand our strategic cooperation across a much broader field.”

DQG is non-profit business organisation established by the Dubai Department of Economic Development under the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
