HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of Bahrain, touring the Gulf Industry Fair

Gulf Industry Fair 2018 (GIF), the Northern Gulf’s leading business-to-business industrial show, will be back next year with a series of events and initiatives promoting the region’s dynamic industrial sector.

The annual industrial event is scheduled to take place from February 6 to 8 under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of Bahrain, at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

It provides a unique one-stop shop approach for the elements of industrial development across the aluminium, energy and environment protection, industrial metals, industrial processes and manufacturing, logistics and industrial facilities, security and safety and training for industry, said the event organisers Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE).

More than 3,000 visitors and exhibitors have benefited from this year’s Gulf Industry Fair edition, it stated.

“Gulf Industry Fair 2018 will focus on promoting economic diversification through the elements of industrial development under a wider theme of eco-industrial development,” remarked Jubran Abdulrahman, the managing director of HCE.

“Eco-industrial development (EID) at Gulf Industry Fair will make the connections between industry, natural systems, energy, material and local communities as key factors in delivering industrial development,” stated Ahmed Suleiman, the exhibition director.

Gulf Industry Fair 2018 is being sponsored by the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) and Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) in association with Noga. It also carries the support of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Bahrain, PHD Chambers of Commerce from India and Bahrain Industrial Association.
