Gulf Safety Forum takes place in Doha, Qatar from October 30 to 31

ME-TRANSLOG 2016

More than 50 local and international companies will take part in the Middle East Transport and Logistics Exhibition (ME-Translog 2016) to be held this month in Oman, said a report.

The event will be held on September 5 to 7, at the Oman International Exhibition Centre, Muscat.

ME-Translog is supported by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, which is spearheading the modernisation of Oman’s transport and logistics infrastructure, added the report. It is also supported by various government, public and private sector stakeholders who contribute to the growth and continued success of this pivotal industry.

The event is expected to create synergy and strengthen the collaboration between the authorities and the industries.

The event will see local, regional and international exhibitors will showcase latest technologies, best practices, pioneering research, advanced trends, and innovative products and solutions, to meet the requirements of governments, businesses, industrial and commercial entities, aviation, construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, oil and gas and utilities sectors, for more efficient and even faster transport and logistics services.

The event is designed to meet the supply and demand of the market, by bringing the manufacturers, integrators, distributors, and service providers to capitalise on the expanding market and boost momentum across.

DOHA SAFETY FORUM

October 30-31


Top industry players from across the region will discuss latest technologies and strategies for continuous improvement of safety procedures in the region at the Gulf Safety Forum, to be held in October, in Doha, Qatar. The event will take place on October 30 and 31 under the patronage of HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Qatar.

Organised by Euro Petroleum Consultants and the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC), the event will see experts discuss strategies for continuous improvement of safety procedures as well as share successful case studies and roadmaps towards achieving the goal of zero accidents.

International safety experts and providers of safety tools and technologies will also present the latest methodologies which can assist companies to achieve these goals. The event will gather representatives from diverse industry sectors including oil, gas, petrochemicals, construction, manufacturing and transportation.

Other organisations who will be presenting at the event include Oryx GTL, Qatalum, Qafac, Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, AspenTech, Honeywell, PTAI and Dekra Insight.

MATERIALS HANDLING & LOGISTICS EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE

November 28-29


The latter part of 2016 will see the launch of the premiere Materials Handling & Logistics Exhibition and Conference from November 28 to 29 at Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. The show covers the profiles of intralogistics, warehousing, supply chain, ports, ports equipment and related products and services. The largest gathering for the industry of its kind in Saudi Arabia, it will be the only focused platform where the entire industry will meet to share and discuss the latest upcoming projects within the region from small and medium enterprises to larger companies, a much broader audience will gather under one roof. The Supply Chain and Logistics Forum (SCLF) will be a concurrent feature alongside Materials Handling & Logistics exhibition focusing on the opportunities and challenges which the new environment presents.

FLEXIBLE PACKAGING MIDDLE EAST & AFRICA

Leading industry professionals and experts from around the world will attend the eighth international Flexible Packaging Middle East & Africa 2016 conference, later this year, in Dubai, UAE. Saudi International Motor Show

December 11-15


Saudi International Motor Show – the longest automotive exhibition in the Kingdom – will be held from December 11 to 15. Leading names in the automotive industry will be presenting their latest car models. Saudi Arabia has placed development of a domestic automotive industry at the center of an ambitious industrial diversification strategy, and named the auto sector as one of five priority industries in a national industrial cluster development strategy.
