Ceva headquarters open to business

DWC and Ceva officials at the inauguration of Ceva’s office

Ceva Logistics, one of the world’s leading supply chain management companies, has officially inaugurated its new regional headquarters and main freight management office at Dubai World Central (DWC)’s Business Park.

The new facility enables Ceva to strengthen its operations in the UAE and the GCC region as well as expand its presence in the wider Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia sub-region. The company says it will benefit greatly from its strategic location at the heart of the official site of the World Expo 2020. Aside from the state-of-the-art infrastructure and close proximity to  Al Maktoum International Airport (AMIA), the world’s largest airport in volume and size upon completion, Ceva’s office at Business Park will benefit from swift connectivity provided via Sheikh Zayed Road, Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road, connecting seamlessly to the entire UAE and the region. This will significantly enhance the company’s operational capabilities and optimise its turn-around time, Ceva says.

Paolo Serra, director, Business Park, DWC, remarked: “Dubai World Central has established itself as a leading logistics hub in the region and the opening of Ceva’s regional headquarters and the new office at the Business Park once again underscores this.”

More than 500 companies, including Nestle, Helukabel and Italtouch, are currently operating at the Business Park. Moreover, the number of companies setting up offices is increasing by 10 to 20 per cent monthly, according to DWC.
