HRH the Premier after opening the expos.

A collection of three leading exhibitions related to the construction, interiors and property sectors was opened this morning in Bahrain by HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of Bahrain.

The Gulf Construction, Gulf Property Show and Interiors Expo will run concurrently till April 25 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre under the patronage of HRH the Premier.

Following the inauguration, attended by ministers, senior officials, leading business people and industry experts, HRH the Premier toured the exhibitions.

He praised the quality of the exhibition and appreciated the products on display.

The trio of exhibitions, eagerly awaited by the market, continues to provide the largest integrated business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) showcase for the construction, interiors and property sectors in the Northern Gulf.

The shows are being organised by Bahrain-based Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE), a leading events organiser in the kingdom.

Some of the leading companies from the region and afar are showcasing their innovative products and services at the shows.

HCE managing director Jubran Abdulrahman said: “Amidst the challenging economic climate the marquee exhibitions for the Northern Gulf’s booming construction and building sectors remain popular.”

The three expos have attracted strong exhibitor presence from around 20 countries, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Kuwait, Jordan, Turkey, China and Europe.

Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company (Edamah), the real estate arm of the country’s sovereign wealth fund (Mumtalakat), marked the opening of Gulf Property Show 2019 by signing a landmark financing deal with Kuwait Finance House (KFH) for its Sa’ada public waterfront project in Muharraq.

Edamah is marking its debut in style as the event's strategic sponsors with a striking stand that is centrally positioned on the show floor.

“This year we have a record number of companies sponsoring the event. In addition, the strong workshop programme and the ‘On the Wall2’ art exhibition provide a wider variety of events within the traditional expo format,” commented Ahmed Suleiman, exhibitions director.

The organisers will continue their innovative approach to Bahrain’s meetings and events industry. “For the first time in Bahrain, we will be live streaming the expo opening, the workshops and interviews of exhibitors and visitors across our social media platforms,” said Abdulrahman.
