The Ajman Department of Economic Development (DED) recently organised a meeting with investors in leading sectors aimed at promoting direct communication, assess the current business performance of investors and listen to their suggestions, said a report.

The meeting, which was held at the Fairmont Ajman Hotel, saw the attendance of officials from the DED’s Planning and Business Development Department, reported state news agency Wam.

The event was held in light of Ajman’s investment environment and the investors’ desire to grow their businesses, as well as the challenges facing them, it said.

Fatima Ahmed Al Shamsi, director of the planning and economic studies section, said that the meeting is part of the DED’s efforts to develop the emirate’s business environment and encourage investment, as well as to learn about the needs of investors and business owners from various sectors, and offer them support in overcoming their obstacles.

Al Shamsi also highlighted the DED’s keenness to assess the recommendations of these meetings and coordinate with relevant authorities, to launch initiatives that aim to listen to their customers and investors and answer the aspirations of various economic sectors, with the aim of promoting investment, achieving the happiness of customers, and advancing Ajman’s economy.
