Al Salem Johnson Controls (York), a leading provider of integrated heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) solutions and equipment, recently organised a training workshop for engineers and HVAC technicians enrolled in the Human Resource Development Fund’s Training Support Program (HADAF).

The workshop, titled “Fundamentals of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Cooling (HVAC)”, highlighted the objective of building a productive and sustainable national specialised HVAC workforce, enabling them to obtain professional certificates required by the labour market and imparting valuable knowledge experiences, said a company statement.

As many as 12 trainees took part in the workshop.

The workshop is part of a strategic partnership between Al Salem Johnson Controls (York) and the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), it said.

It was held at York factory in Al-Hamdaniya District, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and was presented by a Saudi engineer in English and Arabic, it added.

After the workshop, the trainees were given a tour inside the factory where York’s Saudi engineers working in the factory explained the different production lines and manufacturing processes of cooling and air conditioning units, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
