DHL Supply Chain Mainland Europe, Middle East and Africa (MLEMEA) management team has revealed that David Christmas, has been promoted as the chief executive officer of Middle East and Africa (MEA).

Christmas brings a wealth of experience and passion to his new role, having joined the business in 2004 as client director, said a statement.

In his new role, he will be leading on the overall strategy for the supply chain business and the direct managerial team, while overseeing operations and business activities to ensure a consistent delivery of quality services, it said.

Christmas’ career in logistics spans over 20 years across Europe, Asia and Africa. In various roles including, general management, business development, transport and customer relations, it added.

Speaking on his appointment, Christmas said: “We continue to see tremendous opportunity in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region and we hope to further strengthen our leadership as the supply chain service provider of choice.”
