As part of its efforts to accelerate digital transformation, Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), the world’s largest Aluminium smelter ex-China, has selected EtaPRO to improve the thermal performance of its power stations. The EtaPRO system will provide a plant performance digital dashboard and measure plant degradation by using digital Industry 4.

Bahrain has recorded foreign direct investments (FDI) worth BD12.6 billion ($33.1 billion) during  2021 compared to BD11.9 billion ($31.2 billion), thus registering an increase of 5.6 per cent over the previous year, said the kingdom’s Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) in a new report.

Bahrain's National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) said that it has licensed the medical firm Gulf Biotech Company (GBC) to become the first facility in the kingdom to manufacture injectable drugs. The move also makes the company the second facility to manufacture drugs in the Kingdom, reported Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
