The Saudi National Center for Industrial Development (SNCID) said work is currently underway on more than 60 industrial projects being developed across the kingdom at a total investments of about SR74 billion ($19.7 billion). Almost 33 per cent of the proposed projects have either been completed or are under process.

Korea’s Seoul National University Bundang Hospital (SNUBH) said that its consortium has signed a 4.8 billion won ($4 million) contract to establish BESTCare 2.0A, a Korean hospital information system (HIS), in Saudi Arabia, according to a report in Korea Biomedical Review. The SNUBH consortium consists of SNUBH, SK Telecom, and Ezcaretech.

Marafiq, a leading power and water utility company for Jubail and Yanbu, said its consortium comprising key partners – Veolia and Amwal AlKhaleejiah – has signed an agreement with Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) for the financial closing of $280-million ISTP (independent sewage treatment plant) project in Jeddah.
