New Scorpion electrode

Jackson Products Ltd, based in Kingswinford, West Midland, UK, and European subsidiary of Jackson Products Inc, Fenton, Missouri, USA, a global manufacturer and distributor of personal, industrial and traffic safety products, has added a series of three brand new electrode holders for MMA (manual metal arc) welding to their Huntsman range of welding products
These new CE-approved EN60974-11 standard ‘Scorpion’ crocodile style electrode holders are available as 200, 400 and 600 Amp versions.
The 200A version is rated 200A at 60 per cent duty cycle, the 400A version is rated 375A at 60 per cent duty cycle, whilst the 600A versions is rated at 500A at  60 per cent duty cycle.
The copper jaws provide good contact with the welding electrode, whilst the red cap holder is fully insulated to provide full safety for the welder. The black resin handle and electrode release lever offer the user comfort of use and minimum fatigue, as well as easy insertion of the electrode.
The 200A version is recommended for use with up to 5 mm diameter electrodes using a 25 sq mm cable. The 400A version is recommend for use with up to 6 mm electrodes using a 50 sq mm cable whilst the 600A version is recommended for use with up to 8 mm electrodes using a 70 sq mm cable
These electrode holders are lightweight, low cost and are available from stock.
