Parador: creating a productive and professional environment

The world’s most elaborate flooring solutions are gracing the offices of the Middle East already and generating a more productive and happier work force, according to German wooden flooring maker Parador.

“Our clients across the Middle East are coming to us with instructions to create ‘productive work places’ which means the use of colours, in addition to the very highest quality materials,” said Erno Nemeth, a Parador official.
Parador was one of hundreds of companies that took part in Domotex, the Dubai exhibition showcasing the world’s best flooring.
The German floor maker – together with its exclusive Middle East agent, OFIS – provided the panelling for the Creative Flooring demonstration area, where professionals from Europe demonstrated the ease and functionality with which Parador floors can be assembled.
Parador manufactures and sells three main types of flooring: laminate, engineered wood, and solid wood, with laminate flooring being the region’s top selling product for both commercial and domestic use, according to Vaneesh Malhotra, sales manager- flooring at Dubai-based OFIS.
He said Parador surfaces created a productive and professional environment and were both handsome and durable.
“We expect our sales to increase significantly as the Parador brand becomes more widely known,” said Malhotra.
In Dubai alone, there is nearly 30 million sq ft of office space under construction – virtually doubling the available office space of recent years.
European studies suggest that greens and blues create the most productive workforce, while, perhaps surprisingly, reds and blacks also received positive results.
OFIS is the only supplier of major international brands including Parador, DVO, Zuco, and Bosse.
OFIS supplies many major companies across the Middle East, including the Norr Group, City Space, HSBC, Shell Unilever, DHL and Dubai Airport.
