A Nissan Urvan

Gulf sales of Nissan’s Urvan have surpassed a significant milestone with over 1,000 units sold in November 2007. It was the first time that milestone was reached in a month, Nissan’s  regional office said.

Across the region Nissan’s national sales companies sold a total of 1,022 Nissan Urvans, demonstrating its strong appeal in the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) market, it said.
Commenting on the development, Reza Alavi, head of the Light Commercial Vehicle Business Unit at Nissan Middle East, said: “Businesses across the region are looking for reliable commercial vehicles that are economical, comfortable and also convenient. These businesses have found everything they need in the Nissan Urvan. This is clearly proven by Nissan and its national sales companies exceeding sales of 1,000 units a month in the region.”
Added Alavi: “Nissan Urvan annual sales have been consistently rising over the past few years and this month is a record achievement. This performance represents a 50 per cent increase compared to last year’s average monthly sales.”
The company’s pitch is that Nissan Urvan offers unique features that provide significant economic benefits as well as more comfort, flexibility, convenience, safety and better performance than its competitors.
The Nissan Urvan is available in four options – a luxury 12-passenger microbus, a standard 15-passenger microbus, a six-passenger Half Panel Van (HPV) and three-passenger van with a large and versatile carrying capacity.
