Haeusler offers innovative technologies for a number of applications

With 70 years of experience behind it, Haeusler AG is recognised as a worldwide leader in the development and manufacture of metal forming, assembling and welding machinery as well as complete production lines and individual technical solutions.

The company was founded 1936 by Christian Haeusler in Dornach, Switzerland. What began as a small locksmith’s shop is now a flourishing machine building company and an undisputable technological leader.
Haeusler AG, which will take part in the Gulf Industry Fair, offers innovative technologies for all manner of applications. They range from automotive systems, aviation, boiler and heat exchanger, petrol and offshore, power plants, shipyard up to steel structures, vessel constructions and wind mills.
The production programme of Haeusler AG comprises: three roller plate bending machines of types RMS, SPBM, FKB, RMS; four roller plate bending machines type VRM; universal section bending machines type HPR; beam and pipe-bending machines type BB; assembling and welding equipment as “crocodile”, clamp rings, tack welding; Special machines as automatic bending, dishing presses, flanging machines, special forming, sizing machines, straightening machines, beam welder, tube panel welder; pipe mills; production lines: fuel tanks, storage and transport tanks, wheel rims.
 Haeusler has two manufacturing sites one in Germany and the other in Switzerland. These facilities build a strong basis for high-quality standards of all Haeusler products.
“Moreover, as our aim is to reach the excellent quality level on every stage of the production process we purchase our materials, components and units exclusively in the countries of the European Union,” the company says. 
“Around 250 qualified employees use their know-how for the maximum customer satisfaction. Haeusler is the competent partner for planning, engineering, production, erection, commissioning and service in the machinery sector.”
There are more than 3,000 Haeusler machines or production lines installed in more than 70 different countries. Ninety per cent of the machines, built since 1950, are still used worldwide.

Commission processing
The Haeusler production centre offers the service of commission processing. “Therewith we want to pass on all the experience of our employees to our partners and to enable the bridging of capacity shortages or missing technical equipment,” the company says.
“Through our nearly identical equipped production facility in Switzerland and Germany we guarantee a high flexibility and short-term realisation by planning your remittance work. With this service you expand your scope for the production of machine components or assembly groups as well as complete machines.
“Our business activities comprise single production orders and complete fabrications including engineering, erection and commissioning in the scope of mechanics, hydraulic electrical installation and control engineering. Furthermore, we offer you our extended service for the field of repair and revisions of machines or facilities.”

Quality
The company stresses it does not compromise on quality. “High quality requirements are a matter of course for our company. Haeusler is always obliged to guarantee first-class quality as we produce mainly for industry areas with a very high security potential such as aircraft construction, automotive engineering, shipbuilding or petrochemical.
“We achieve this high quality through our responsible employees who are accompanied by seasoned managers. We practise our own quality management, cutomising it, if necessary, to the extended specification of remittance work. Our employees are currently supported by training in order to adapt to the fast-shifting requests. Through the variety of our characteristic products as well as through the long decades of experience in the order fabrication our employees have maintained a high technical versatility and flexibility.”

Market development
Maintaining the existing business contacts in the traditional European market, Haeusler is constantly expanding its activities to the new markets. This ensures the delivery of truly global solutions and advice. The strategic focus on the fast developing markets is opening new business opportunities. Its important customers come from such growing markets as Saudi Arabia, the Russian Federation, India,  Brazil and China.
In Saudi Arabia it was involved with manufacturing and supplying the hydraulic dishing press HKP, appendant manipulator HMB and flanging machine HBM for a new production line for EES in Jubail to produce boiler heads up to a thickness of 80 mm and inside diameter of 7 m.
In the UAE it worked on manufacturing and supplying the LSAW Steel Pipe Mill for Al Jazira Pipe Industries & Oil Services Co LLC (JPIOS) in Abu Dhabi for the production of pipes in sizes ranging from 16 and 60 inches diameter.
In Russia one of its projects was to manufacture and supply the production line for large-diameter longitudinal welded pipes with diameters of 530 mm to 1,420 mm, wall thickness of up to 42 mm and strength groups of up to X100 for one of the world’s largest oil and gas pipe producers TMK. The facility will be installed at the Volzhsky Pipe Plant, a subsidiary of TMK situated in the Volgograd region of Russia.
Another project in Russia was a wheel rim production line consisting of expander, profile machine and sizing machine with the output of 130 rims per hour for the rim width between 6.75 and 9 inches and the rim diameter between 17.5 and 22.5 inches for the biggest truck manufacturer KAMAZ in former Soviet countries.
In China it won a project for manufacturing and supplying two 3-Roll CNC-controlled Bending Machines of type SPBM for Chinese companies China Shipbuilding & Offshore International Co Ltd and China Shipbuilding Trading Co Ltd. Both machines are designed for bending plates of max. 21.0 m length and 4.5 m width in roll bending or pressing process. The minimum roll bending radius is 600 mm at 40 mm plate thickness.
