UTECH polyurethane show to make its debut in Dubai

UTECH Middle East/Africa Foam & Polyurethane Expo, the new exhibition and conference for the polyurethane industry in the Middle East and Africa, takes place from June 7 to 9, at the Sheikh Saeed Hall 1, Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, UAE.

Organised jointly by Crain Communications and Media Fusion, UTECH Middle East/Africa Foam & Polyurethane Expo is co-located with Sleep Expo Middle East and Adhesives, Sealants & Bonding Expo, bringing the UTECH community together with two of the major end markets for polyurethanes.

Polyurethanes are widely used in many of today’s most advanced products ranging from automotive interiors, insulation, coatings, sealants and adhesives to medical devices, textiles, furniture and footwear. Show organisers expect visitors to UTECH Middle East/Africa Foam & Polyurethane Expo to come from businesses in Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey.

UTECH Middle East/Africa Foam & Polyurethane Expo will be the first opportunity for international and local players in the foam and polyurethane industry to showcase their solutions at the only dedicated trade show in the region. The free-to-attend, three-day polyurethane conference looks at the technical and business issues affecting a wide range of sectors including automotive, construction, flexible and rigid foam applications. The opening keynote speaker Amir Naqvi, Regional Business Leader for Honeywell Fluorine Products, Middle-East, Turkey and Africa will set the tone for the conference with his presentation entitled Sustainability: the future shaper of the polyurethane industry.
