Bain & Company names Boshnak as new Partner

Bain & Company, a global consultancy, has announced the appointment of Saudi national Ahmed Boshnak as its new Partner and Office Head of Bain in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

In his new role, Boshnak will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Bain office in Riyadh and providing strategic leadership to help deliver positive results in the KSA market.

Boshnak brings more than 20 years of experience in strategy consulting, financial services, and venture capital. He returns to Bain & Company where he had previously served between 2010-2013, advising clients on strategy development, performance improvement, as well as organisation governance.

Prior to joining Bain, Boshnak was the Managing Director of Emaar, the Economic City (EEC), a publicly listed company, and the Master Developer of King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC).




Cloud Box expands team to boost new growth path

Vertiv appoints new marketing head for Europe, Middle East and Africa

Vertiv, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, has appointed Vicente Chiralt as vice president of marketing for the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Chiralt has been promoted to this position after four years with the company. He was previously senior director of the field and channel marketing teams for the region, leading the successful execution of demand generation, channel development and brand awareness programs.

In his new role, Chiralt will lead all marketing teams in the region and will seek to maximize the tangible impact of marketing programs on Vertiv’s business by developing strategies focused on customers, value creation and operational excellence.

Prior to joining Vertiv, he held senior sales, marketing and communications management positions at first APC and then Schneider Electric.  “We are at a unique moment for our industry, which plays a vital role in the digitization process of society,” said Vicente. “I am pleased to take on this responsibility and work with my team to further boost our leadership position in this technological wave.” 




Wahed appoints former SEC Director Lori Richards to Board of Directors

Wahed, a global fintech company, has announced the appointment of Lori A. Richards to its board of directors.

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Richards is a well-respected securities industry compliance professional. A former Director of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Richards led the SEC’s national examination program, and led numerous examination initiatives, resulting in improvements in investor protection and industry compliance.

Richards received the Presidential Rank Award for Distinguished Service in 2001 (the highest civilian award in the Federal government) and the SEC’s Distinguished Service Award in 2008 (the SEC’s highest award). Subsequently, Richards worked in the industry as a Principal with PwC and as Chief Compliance Officer of JP Morgan Asset and Wealth Management.
