Milagrow appoints new Global Business Director to fast-track growth in MEA

Milagrow Robots, a leader in consumer robots, has expanded its management team with the appointment of TR Ganesh as the Director of Global Business.

An expert in business growth and value creation, Ganesh will expand Milagrow’s footprint across the Middle East & Africa (MEA), South Asia and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region by overseeing the company’s growth and partnership initiatives through partner collaboration.

Ganesh will lead Milagrow’s regional operations and expand the company’s channel partner network by appointing established distributors, resellers and retailers in different countries.

“Ganesh is an outstanding addition to our Milagrow team. His strong background with leading organisations and his sharp analytical skills will be an asset and will help accelerate Milagrow’s growth in the MEA region,” said Rajeev Karwal, Founder & Chairman, Milagrow Robots.

Maureen Bannerman to take over as new MD at APM Terminals Bahrain

APM Terminals Bahrain has appointrd Maureen Bannerman as its new Managing Director.  Bannerman will assume the role early this month, taking over from Susan Hunter who has been managing the company since January 2019, APM Terminals, the operator of the Khalifa Bin Salman Port said.

She will join APM Terminals from Dubai Airports, where she has held the position of Vice President, Commercial since 2016, directly responsible for the commercial vision and strategy of the world’s busiest airport. Prior to that, Bannerman held executive positions in Serco Dubai Metro (company managing Dubai’s metro and tram systems), Abu Dhabi Airports, as well as UK’s Network Rail and High Speed Rail System.

“With vast experience in the transport and logistics sector, Maureen will be a great asset and will play a key role in strengthening our footprint in the Middle East,” said David Skov, Head of Africa and Middle East at APM Terminals.

Doosan Bobcat announces key appointment for EMEA region

Doosan Bobcat, a world leader in the manufacture of compact construction machines, has appointed Jan Moravec as the new general manager for its Portable Power division covering Europe, the EMEA markets.

This change is aimed at streamlining the performance of Portable Power products within Doosan Bobcat, said the statement from the company. As well as portable compressors for the construction, rental, quarrying and many other industries, the Portable Power range from Doosan Bobcat includes generators and lighting products aimed at the same markets.

An industry veteran, Moravec has been with portable power unit for over 18 years and is based at the Doosan Bobcat EMEA campus at Dobris in the Czech Republic.

In his new role, Moravec will retain responsibility for product and programme management as well as taking on responsibility for sales, service, along with supply chain sales, inventory and operations planning and responsibility for the company-owned stores in EMEA.

Moravec will be reporting to Lance Mathern, Vice President, Global Portable Power.

Sensgreen appoints three women to key roles

Singapore-based Sensgreen, said it has contributed to women empowerment in business by designating 3 women leaders to key company roles.

The company appointed Sanela Habbab as the Country Manager of the UAE, Senem Gungor as the Country Manager of Turkey, and Gözde Mert as the Director of Marketing. With these appointments, the company confirms its strategic ambition working towards the vision of creating smart buildings through the power of IoT and AI

Habbab will be responsible for managing all aspects of the operations and implementations of Sensgreen offices located in Dubai. Habbab brings over 20 years of experience in the GCC region in the HVAC industry, including district cooling, facility, energy management and retrofitting.

Turkey Country Manager Senem Güngör has 14 years of experience in the energy and air conditioning industries and renewable energy, project sales & planning, business development, business and marketing strategy expertise in Turkey and the Middle East Region.
