APM Terminals Bahrain, the operator of Khalifa Bin Salman Port (KBSP) in Bahrain, has opened a fast lane at the truck parking area for Export Full Reefer Containers.

“Considering the perishable nature of reefer cargo and to provide a differentiated service for such high value cargo, a dedicated Full Export Reefer Fast Lane has been made available for priority gate-in of export full reefer containers into Khalifa bin Salman Port,” said a statement by APM Terminals Bahrain.

The Full Export Reefer Fast-Lane was inaugurated on August 16, 2020, by representatives of Port Maritime Affairs, Bahrain Society of Transport, Heavy Equipment and Public Transportation Company Owners, Bahrain Custom Clearing Society along with officials of APM Terminals Bahrain, it added.
