Colarodo-based American Networks and Technologies, a leading passive ICT manufacturer, has appointed Rakesh Raj as its new regional manager for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

In his new role, Raj will manage all partners and alliance-based engagements besides establishing a renewed, energised channel program, said a statement from American Networks and Technologies.

Raj brings with him seven years of experience in the ICT industry, leading high-impact sales teams across the region, across all verticals. In his previous role as business development manager at Alston Systems, he managed nine sales teams across small and medium enterprise (SME), channel, mid-market and enterprise accounts and held several sales leadership roles across the region.

George Landon, managing director of American Networks and Technologies – MEA, said: “Our channel partners play an essential role in how we support our customers and expand our business into new verticals and markets,”
