Manufacturing recruitment specialists Clarico have appointed Russell Metcalf as managing director to deliver the company’s global strategy. Metcalf has officially taken over on January 1st 2020 replacing current MD and owner, Jamie Town, who will retain ownership of the company and continue in an advisory role.

Over the past year, Clarico has positioned itself to be a global recruitment company incorporating AI, data science and candidate nurturing for a range of manufacturing clients across Europe and the Middle East.

Metcalf, who has worked in recruitment for eight years, said: “This has been a rapid and successful journey with Clarico. We’ve got the best innovation and tech that’s out there and got the best people to deliver it, which is why we’re in a position to support global businesses. We have delivered for businesses in Sweden, Holland and the Czech Republic and have projects coming up Bahrain, Oman, France, Italy and Belgium. We’re on a two-year rolling strategy and what we have implemented already is delivering results and with the support of the team around me, we will continue to establish partnerships in manufacturing recruitment.”
