Leviton names new MD Middle East

Leviton, a company that offers electrical, lighting and networking solutions has appointed Shady Youssef as managing director, Leviton Middle East (LME).

Youssef started the new position beginning last month replacing Aldo Strawbridge who will be retiring effective December 31. Leviton Middle East was established in 2008, focusing on networking and energy management solutions. With the acquisition of LED lighting firm JCC based in the UK, the Middle East team quickly established a presence in the lighting market.

Youssef is expected to continue to build and expand our business driving the best solutions and service to our customers, said a statement.

“We are excited to have Shady’s leadership to further build and develop the Leviton Middle East team,” said Bruno Filio, Leviton vice president of international sales. “With over 12 years of experience in the Middle East, we look forward to having Shady’s expertise and leadership to continue to drive overall growth for Leviton Middle East.”
