APM Terminals Bahrain, the operator of Khalifa Bin Salman Port (KBSP), has signed a three-year collective bargaining agreement (CBA) with The General Union of Marine Port Labours.

The agreement further reinforces its commitment towards investing in the development and welfare of its employees, said a statement.

The agreement, effective April 2018 and valid until March 2021, was signed by Jordana Semaan, GM Human Resources, APM Terminals Bahrain; in the presence of Subah Al Doseri, undersecretary at the Ministry of Labour and Social Development; and Osama Al Alawi, chairman and Salman Al Saad – deputy chairman, The General Union of Marine Port labours.

Under this contract, 500 APM Terminals Bahrain employees working at KBSP across various departments will be offered with family medical insurance benefits and transportation allowance in addition to occupational health and safety, unemployment insurance, annual increase, training, development and promotion, it stated.
