Flowcrete showcased its latest Flowfresh system range at Gulfood Manufacturing 2016

Flowcrete Middle East showcased a wide range of its hygienic flooring solutions at Gulfood Manufacturing 2016 in Dubai for the sixth consecutive year.

Flowcrete’s main focus at the exhibition has been its latest Flowfresh system range developed exclusively with a global partnership with Polygiene, a manufacturer of natural silver ion based antimicrobial agents. This additive has been incorporated into the polyurethane matrix of Flowfresh to deliver an advanced surface protection that eliminates up to 99.9 per cent of bacteria. This system has been proven to meet the ISO 22196 standard of measuring a surface’s antibacterial effectiveness, the company said in a statement.

Furthermore, the polyurethane range has been able to achieve the HACCP International certification thanks to its ability to deliver a long list of strict food industry flooring requirements, which makes it first of its kind in the GCC and Mena region.

Flowfresh is available in a variety of slip resistance grades so that specifiers can select a solution that takes into account the amount and type of spillages that the floor is likely to experience.

Commenting on the company’s participation, Kevin Storey, managing director of Flowcrete Middle East said: “Flowcrete Middle East is a regular participant at the Gulfood Manufacturing exhibition. The show is an important exhibition for us and reaffirms our brand status amongst related regional players.”

In addition to Flowfresh products, Flowcrete Middle East also showcased its models of Flowfast, a floor that is ready to use just two hours after application. A popular choice within the food industry where it’s seamless, durable finish offers an excellent platform for hygiene and heavy industry.
