Examples of the new products from Parker CSS

The Composite Sealing Systems (CSS) division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has expanded its product offerings to include fabric-reinforced products.

When aerospace customers need products with high durability, extended lifecycles, and fire resistance, they turn to fabric-reinforced elastomeric components. Due to strict industry requirements (ISO 2685 and RTCA/DO-160) manufacturers need products that meet and exceed these standards. Parker’s engineers and technicians work with a wide variety of sophisticated materials to design durable, lightweight solutions.

Parker’s technical expertise allows it to perform product validation and provide quality assurance as needed.

“Our fire-proof products meet industry standards with no burn-through during kerosene fuel tests, providing evidence of our material innovation and design experience to our customers,” says Paul Yetter, Parker aerospace/military product engineer. “The CSS division has developed a variety of aerodynamic seals to provide a single source for customer sealing needs.”

Parker’s CSS division, part of the Engineered Materials Group, develops and manufactures seals and sealing systems for Parker’s manufacturing partners in multiple markets.

With annual sales of approximately $13 billion in fiscal year 2015, Parker Hannifin is the world›s leading diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems, providing precision-engineered solutions for a wide variety of mobile, industrial and aerospace markets. The company has operations in 50 countries around the world.
