SULLAIR, an industry leader in compressed air solutions since 1965, has unveiled the Tier-4 Final 185 portableair compressor.

The company also introduced the Sullair Certified Reman 375 portable air compressor.

In spring 2014, Sullair had announced a redesign effort to incorporate new emission controls to meet EPA Interim 4 (iT4) standards for its portable air compressors. This redesign project also included an extensive customer feedback programme – which has led to a number of new design enhancements that were displayed at The ARA Rental Show in New Orleans (US). These enhancements include greater fuel efficiency, more durable packaging, and several low-cost additions that give air compressors increased functionality at the job site. With the first stage completed, Sullair’s redesign programme has brought its smaller portable air compressors (185 cfm) up to EPA Tier-4 Final status, with additional sizes to follow in the upcoming months.

The Sullair Certified Reman programme provides a replacement for T2/T3 portable air compressors with a fully remanufactured Sullair air compressor that features the same factory warranty as a new unit. Once an exchange takes place, Sullair fully disassembles the used air compressor core and inspects, cleans and services all of its components – any replacement parts used in the process are genuine OEM. Extensive testing is conducted, to ensure that the remanufactured unit meets the original specifications.

At the event, Sullair expanded this programme to include smaller units with the Sullair Certified Reman 375 Series. The expanded Reman programme is targeted towards customers in the construction market that seek to avoid the hassle of selling aging equipment – or those hoping to extend the life of their rental fleets.

Sullair is globally recognised as a leading manufacturer of portable air compressors, contractors’ air tools, stationary air compressors, compressed air treatment equipment and vacuum systems.
