Mabani Steel, a UAE-based designer, fabricator, erector and supplier of steel building structures, is currently working on a project at Jeddah Airport.

Its other ongoing projects include the Dragon Mall in Bahrain, the Aquat Food Factory in Jeddah, a Coca-Cola factory in Qatar and a scheme for Emirates Sky Cargo in Dubai. 

With the global spotlight on safety and sustainability in the construction sector, Mabani Steel has ensured compliance with ISO guidelines, the company says.

Mabani Steel declared 2014 its best ever year since it started business in 2006. Its performance was is in line with renewed growth in the construction sector regionally, it said.

The company is optimistic about 2015 and anticipates growth with the UAE gearing up for Expo 2020 and construction projects to be generated.

“This year we will continue to grow our business and satisfy our customers with our services, completing their projects on time and on budget,” a spokesman for the company stated.

Mabani Steel views the home market UAE and Saudi Arabia as its major growth fields in the GCC.

“We are looking at increasing or footprint and strengthening our presence there. We will do so by securing signature projects with excellent execution the possibility of repeat business,” he said.

The spokesman added: “The vision of Mabani Steel has been to seek to be the most profitable and trustworthy player in the steel building and structural business sector in target markets with a market share greater than 20 per cent.

“We want to become the preferred choice for decision-makers in the building construction industry within our geographical markets.”

Wholly owned by Al Rajhi Holding Group, Mabani Steel has its head office and factory located in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Its factory has production capacity of 72,000 tonnes per year of pre-engineered buildings and 48,000 tonnes per year of hot rolled structural steel.

Mabani Steel has executed more than 2,500 projects so far. It has a track record of supplying steel buildings to over 50 countries in the Gulf, Africa, South Asia and the Far East.

Work standards at the company comply with several ISO certificates including the ISO 9001for quality management systems, ISO 14001for environmental quality and ISO 18001 for health and safety. In 2012, the Mabani Steel factory was awarded the Environmental Performance Certificate by the UAE Ministry of Environment and Water in recognition of its efforts to comply with environmental production standards.
